Some Monday randomness!

Happy, happy Monday everyone! I am still waiting on a desk to finish off my scrap room, so that is why I have not posted any completed pictures yet. I will however, share a couple of my favorite things from my new room:

I am beyond thrilled to have enough space in my room to include a comfy chair. I stole the "funky" chair as we call it, from our family room & it goes perfectly!! Especially with my little Hambly birds hanging out over it! Even if I don't have time to scrap I love being able to just sit in my chair for a few minutes and relax.


This wall unit is new and I am having fun filling it with this and that. I think it will be the home to quite a few more antique frogs - haven't found what I want the frogs to hold yet, but I imagine some special photos or postcards in them.


Nate had to do a project for school this last week called "creative juice". It was all about creating something from recycled materials - giving old things a new purpose. I told him I would help him put it together but the idea had to be all his. This is what he came up with; "The Schmuzziemobile" Schmuzzies are what we call those little pompom creatures. I think it turned out very cute, and he even has a blue felt camouflaged seat cushion!
