Nov./Dec. Project Kit

Christmas ATC display
Full of plenty of Christmas themed goodies from manufactures like Making Memories, 7gypsies, Little Yellow Bicycle and My Mind's Eye, this kit will help you not only record your Christmas memories but display them during the holiday season for everyone to enjoy! You can use photos from Christmas' past or have it ready to record this upcoming season. The 25 numbered stickers from Little Yellow Bicycle make it easy to create a number of themes for your display: 25 favorite Christmas memories from years gone by, a countdown to Christmas with a different memory for each day, or even just 25 of your favorite Christmas photos from last year (which is what I did). Your family will love looking through this display and reliving one of the most special times of the year.

On a side note, this is a project kit that is not going to be finished in one night. I was having a little too much fun putting it all together and it ended up having lots of pretty bits and pieces. Of course as with all my project kits you do not have to do it exactly as I have, and you could keep it more simple if you wish. Remaining kits (kits go up for pre-sale to Cocoa Daisy subscribers) will go up for sale November 1st at Cocoa Daisy.

Some sneaks & exciting news!

First the sneaks! I scrapped with the Cocoa Daisy November kit while we were on vacation and I loved playing with all the bright autumn colors mixed with a bit of pink.

Now for the exciting news! Cocoa Daisy will be unveiling a brand new look within the next couple days. I have seen the finished site and it is amazing and so very Cocoa Daisy!! I can't wait for you all to see it! I will make sure and post the link as soon as it's up and running :)
Look for some November project kit sneaks tomorrow too!

Back home!

We had a great vacation, very laid back and relaxing. Some sunny days (perfect for walking on the beach) and some rainy days (perfect for shopping). One thing we did way to much of was eat!! So much yummy food we just couldn't help ourselves, and for those of you that know me well -Yes I did find a place that served Hendrick's :) The best way for me to show you the fun we had is with a few pictures so here goes:

On the way down we had to stop and take these pictures for the boys (if you have little boys at home you will understand why):

A beautiful sunrise, a rainbow after a brief rain shower, and the view from our back deck:

We rented a Jeep and drove up along the beach to see the wild horses in Corolla:

Of course we had to stop and rest in the big red chair:

Some of us really needed to rest:

We had fun playing on the beach looking for shells and watched as a helicopter made an emergency landing:

And we each got a new tattoo:

And our last day there:

Hope you all had a great week too! I'll post some sneak peeks of what I did using the Cocoa Daisy Nov. kit tomorrow!

OBX here we come!

This week has been a week full of packing, packing and more packing! We are heading out to the Outer Banks to the same beach house we rented last year for our anniversary. So not only have I packed our clothes but stuff for the beach house, some scrappy goodness just in case (it is vacation after all) and everything that the boys will need while they stay with Grandma and Grandpa for the week. I am looking forward to a week filled with doing as little as possible! Walks on the beach, plenty of seafood and sitting with a gin and tonic in hand while I watch the ocean waves, is about the extent of my to do list!! Oh and I just may be coming home with some "fresh ink" ;)
I am bringing my computer so hopefully I will be able to post some pics through the week.

I will leave you all with my Cocoa Daisy layouts for October. Have a wonderful week everyone!
