Happy Anniversary and a RAK!

When Greg and I got married 10 years ago today it was exactly 5 years to the day that we had first met -a coincidence that we did not realize until after we had set our wedding date :) One of my favorite wedding pictures is this one, I think it speaks volumes of how much we love and laugh together. He is truly my very best friend, knows me for who I am, all my faults included and still loves me! I love you sweetie - thank you for the last 10 years and I hope we have so many more - you hold my heart!

Seeing as I am going to be gone for a week I thought I would put up a RAK. I created this card/quote set using the October kit from Cocoa Daisy and thought I would give it away to one of my blog readers. I will look and see what I have from my MMM prize that I can through in with it also (most of my extra MMM prize was donated to Nate's school, but I am sure I have some goodies left). Just leave me a comment about cards: do you make them, do you use your scraps etc. I love to make cards and would love to hear how you make them. I will pick a winner when I get back. Have a great week!

Happy Anniversary, Christine! Hope that the two of you have a wonderful trip!

To your question, I LOVE to make cards. I also just bought a Cuttlebug (which I needed like a hole in the head, but I digress) and have all sorts of new ideas twirling in my mind now. The hard part is sending my little babies out into the postal abyss! :)

Happy 10th Anniversary - congatulations and enjoy your celebration! How nice of you to include a RAK, too.

I like to use the scraps left over from completed layouts as a basis for making cards.

Happy Anniversary! Enjoy!

I like making cards with my scraps right after finishing a layout. That way everything that I thought looked good together is still out in front of me! But I often make specific cards for specific people and will totally dig into new product if it "matches" the occasion/person.
Great question, beautiful RAK!

Happy Anniversary! I love your cards :D For me making cards led to scrapping and the huge variety of scrap products has led to far more interesting cards for me :D

Oh my! I love these cards! They're gorgeous! I love to make cards for friends' birthdays and other special occasions whenever I get the chance... it's such a great little project and the perfect way to use up those scraps, too.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you and the hubby!!! May you be blessed with many more :-)

Happy Anniversary.
I sometimes make cards with scraps from my LO, otherwise they go into my scrap box and my children create with them.

Happy Anniversary!

I love your work and I'm glad that you continue to post work to your blog.

As for cards, absolutely. I try to make some immediately after I finish a layout so all the coordinating supplies are out already.

I make cards and donate them to my company's United Way's compaigne each year. Pretty much my entire year's worth of cards I make are donated to the UW auction or given to my mother in law. I actually NEVER send out cards :) I just like making them :)

I love to make cards. I try to use scraps but sometimes I just HAVE to use something new! LOL! I am making card sets for Christmas gifts and I am challenging to use stuff already in my stash! Goodness knows there is enough to choose from! =)

Happy Anniversary! We celebrated 10 years in June!

Happy 10th Anniversary!
Love your cards, the colors from the October kit are really striking. I like to make birthday cards using vintage photographs of the recipient and coordinate papers, embellishments to match the era. TFS!

Happy Anniversary! Hope you had a great trip.

I make cards for special occasions and use scraps whenever I can, but have been known to use brand spanking new supplies to do my holiday cards.
