Sample Book RAK!

There was such a great response to my project kit for May (thank you all very much by the way) so I searched around and I was able to scrounge up a couple more sample books, so I thought I would give them away as RAKs! I am also going to include a full set of instructions from the May project kit, so all you have to do is use your own stash to complete it. I have been asked where you can find these books and the best place to look is to find a local print shop and ask if they have any old paper sample books. To be entered into the RAK simply post a comment and tell me what the last thing you altered was. I will pick a winner Saturday night!

I loved this project when I saw it before! The last thing I altered was a canvas for some mixed media home decor... I love doing those!

I can't wait to get my hands on the project kit and instructions. The last thing I altered was a some Valentine picture frames I picked up at Wal-Mart. I added a little here and there to personalize them for the month of February. I'll get to use them next year, since I didn't get them finished till the end of March. lol

I would love to do one of these books. Hmmmmm, let's see.......I am in the process of altering an old printer's drawer....a big project. I hope all is well!

I don't know if you'd call it an altered item...well, technically I altered something, so it is (lol)...I turned a fruit roll ups box into a gift box. I'm pathetic at altering.

ps...Your 'Head to Head, Nose to Nose' layout rocks as well!

I actually have never altered anything beyond a chipboard album :)

I guess you can call it altered... I had these notebooks hanging around in the closet (white)... they take a 7x9 page. So, I covered them to look like books and decoupaged them and made pages that fold, pockets with tags, and pull outs for more pictures!

Thanks for the inspiration. I am retired and used to be a technical writer...I can't tell you how many sample paper books I had (I loved them..just to look at)-before I scrapbooked - wish I had thought of that!

Okay, I've been coveting one of these puppies since I first saw yours at the crop, so throw my name in please!

Last altered item for me has to be turning an old book into a binder for my December Daily album. I'm still playing with the "guts" of the book on my cards. Fun project!

I think the last thing I altered was a CB book that looks like the skyline of Chicago. Love your album and hope to win this one!!!

I'm altering party hats and some chipboard for a banner, wand and party hats for my friends 50th birthday. Fun to watch it come together! Thanks for doing this!
