Layout for the Missyjack from Scrapjack. I wanted to scrap about my bench for so long glad this jack came along it was the perfect inspiration! The hidden journaling on the tag reads:
"I love this potting bench, not so much for what it does but for the memory it represents. One afternoon I asked my Dad to help me build a simple potting bench, well true to his carpentry nature he had to embellish and "do it right". Mom joined in and we all helped put it together.
We spent a wonderful afternoon together, laughing, bending nails and creating a treasure. Every time I see my bench I think of that afternoon and I smile. "

It's great to hear the story behind the bench.
I actually have something similar that my dad built for me. He "embellished" it with the handles from my childhood dresser. Guess I might have gotten some of my scrappiness from him. :)
